Aladdin, Ali Baba and Sinbad head a set of tales drawn from the Arabian Nights and retold at a length children can manage. The adaptation trims the frame story and the longer digressions, keeping the episodes that carry the magic and the moral turn: a lamp and its consequences, a cave opened by a password, a sailor who keeps going back to sea.
